Rights Movements in the USA

1. You will work in groups of 4-6. Groups will need to work quickly and efficiently to get the work done.

2. Each group gets a movement (1 doubled-sided page, give a few copies per group)

3. Hand out the reading questions (the text is difficult but the questions are easy. they don't need to look up all the words, just get the main ideas)

5. Hand out a poster to each group

6. Presentations 2-3 min per group

6. What were the consequences or results of the movement?


Presentation Rubric
Present the answers to the reading questions in a creative way.  Answers must include at least 3/4 sentences.

Everyone MUST participate in the presentation
VISUAL AID: Your poster must include illustrations/comics, keywords and/or key figures of the movement. It cannot contain full paragraphs.
